Location - amazing, adjacent to the valley, the garden and the Yorkshire Dales. Also, on hillside with beautiful views. Excellent personnel, large rooms with the bathroom, a great view, for example.

Very limited views from the window.

great service but room could be cozier

The staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. We appreciated the charming garden view from our room, which enhanced the relaxing atmosphere.

The room felt a bit cramped for our liking.

    convenient workspaces

It was just a suitable option for a city holiday in Hawes with good price value. I found many places in the hotel to work, a nice surprise. Consider bringing your laptop if you need to stay productive.

    fine views
    friendly service
    lovely garden
    unpleasant dining atmosphere
    inconsistent food quality
    limited menu options

Room had fine views and felt clean, with a full-sized ironing board supplied. Outdoor area was lovely for drinks, and the staff remained pleasant and friendly throughout my stay. The dining experience fell short. The atmosphere in the main dining hall lacked energy, especially since I dined alone. The steak I ordered medium-rare arrived well done, disappointing. Menu options felt limited for someone planning to hike, as they leaned towards fine dining with small portions. It'd be nice to have a heartier bar menu after outdoor activities. My stay was enjoyable overall, but the dining experience could improve significantly.

    gorgeous hotel
    attentive staff

We spent 2 nights at simonstone hall, and the location was fine. The hotel has gorgeous interiors, especially the games room and study where we could unwind after dinner. The breakfast was amazing, and the bar area, with a lovely pool room, added to the charm. The hot tub looked inviting too, and the roaring fires created such a cozy atmosphere.

    room with no bath

The location was fine, and we even enjoyed some nice walks in the area. The staff were super friendly, and the food was a highlight-dinner was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean.

The only downside was that I would have loved a bath in our room, but it seems other rooms had them, so I'd book one next time.

The staff were friendly, and the location was perfect for our circular walk. Dinner was good with excellent food, but the portion sizes could be a bit small for hikers. Our room was spacious and clean with lovely views.

    culinary adventure

    Enchanting, enchanting, enchanting

The whole ambiance is enchanting, especially the amazing views of rolling hills right from my cozy Double Room. I was captivated by the charming peacocks and chickens wandering freely in the fine gardens. And the food? An explosion of flavors from the locally-inspired dishes.
